Aphids (Greenfly and Blackfly)

Found on a wide range of plants, these insects suck the plant sap which weakens the plant and causes the foliage to discolour and deform. Aphids produce a sticky deposit (honeydew) which turns black on plants.

Aphid Control with Ladybird Larvae

The Larvae are voracious feeders of aphids for use on taller plants outdoors or under glass.

Hang the bag in the area requiring treatment.

Use regular introductions (2-3 weeks) typically between May and August or when the temp is above 10°C.
