Agralan Vine Weevil Larvae Protection Nematodes ' Min Soil Temp 12°C'

Feeds underground on roots and stem-bases from mid/late summer through winter, severely weakening or killing plants. Mainly a problem in container plants, but can cause serious damage to strawberries and some plants in borders. Larvae are ‘C’ shaped, cream coloured with a brown head.

Vine Weevil - Late Spring & Early Autumn

Control with parasitic nematodes (H.bacteriophora).

These microscopic worms feed and multiply inside the vine weevil larvae causing death. Supplied as an easy-to-mix powder to be diluted with water before use.

Apply to moist compost/soil using a watering can or sprayer (Aquanemix)

Whilst an autumn treatment is the most effective, a follow up treatment can be applied in the spring.

Use H.bacteriophora April and September or when the temperature is above 12°C.
